My Daily Essentials for Healthy Living

1. Did you know that you should be drinking half your weight in ounces of water every single day?!? To help me accomplish this, I use this Toye Health Water Bottle every day! The handle makes it easy for carrying, the straw makes it easy to sip, and the ounces and times of day printed on the side make it easy for tracking and keeping up with your water intake goals! It's been a lifesaver, and three of my coworkers ended up ordering one for themselves!



2. A while back I did a poll on Instagram where I asked which was harder - eating healthy or exercising? I was not surprised to see that eating healthy was the winner by a landslide. And I agree, it is for me too! One thing that has made my meal prep and planning SO MUCH EASIER is having my incredible superfood shakes on hand. It’s such an easy way for me to get a protein, veggie, and fruit in at the same time, and it tastes like a delicious treat! I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to live without them now.




3. Now, as delicious as they are, I can’t have superfood shakes for every meal. Plus I enjoy a good variety in my daily meal plans. So in order to make eating healthy portions and serving sizes of the foods that I need, I rely on the color-coded containers for easy portion control and meal planning! They have made making healthy choices so much simpler and I don’t have to worry about counting calories or weighing anything.



4. Aside from dumbbells, some of the most effective home workouts that I have completed have utilized resistance loops and core strength slides. These little things don’t look like much, but boy do they bring the burn. They take up little to no space and are very cost effective compared to other home fitness equipment.

5. I have received so many questions about what watch I wear and track my workouts with. I use the Samsung Active 2 and I love it! That being said, I do have a Samsung phone, so the watch pairs seamlessly with my phone. But I’ve had no issues and have no complaints. It’s easy to use and it helps me keep track of everything from exercise to sleep.



6. And lastly, you can’t have successful workouts without proper and safe attire. My feet used to cramp up so bad when exercising and I had no idea that it was because of my shoes! Several years ago I made the switch to these Brooks Revel shoes, and I love them! I love them so much that it was a repeat purchase when I wore out my first pair. Plus I know they get awesome reviews.
